Many will be putting their own health at added risk by exposing themselves to so many patients suffering from an infectious disease. But they are marching towards the challenge rather than fleeing from it.
While the NHS is up for the fight, the same cannot be said for everyone. The country house rental market is booming as wealthy city-dwellers literally head for the hills and the same is true of the private jet industry with the super-rich flitting from country to country in search of the safest havens.
