Passenger Testing ‘could Keep Tens Of Thousands In Work'
Britain's quarantine policy is “strangling” the economy because important markets such as the US, Canada and Singapore are off limits, Heathrow’s boss has claimed.

John Holland-Kaye said jobs would be saved if new arrivals were tested, allowing it to keep routes open and lift the 14-day isolation period for people who test negative for Covid-19.

He said: “Tens of thousands of jobs are being lost because Britain remains cut off from critical markets such as the US, Canada and Singapore.

“The Government can save jobs by introducing testing to cut quarantine from higher-risk countries, while keeping the public safe from a second wave of Covid.”
