Jason Tindall was talked into managing Bournemouth by his football-obsessed son.

And the rookie boss, who is stepping up from his role as Eddie Howe’s assistant, joked it will be child’s play compared to keeping up with 10-year-old Levi, who is a big Cherries fan.

The Tindalls were on holiday in Croatia when the call came offering the 42-year-old his first big gig in management and the decision to say yes was firmly a family affair.
