Campaigners hope the initiative will make this festive period one of the most friendly ever – despite ongoing Covid restrictions.
The #ChristmasTogether campaign is part of this year’s Great Winter Get Together by the Jo Cox Foundation, which is now in its fourth year in memory of the murdered MP.
The campaign calls on people to reach out to others and make sure no one feels alone.
