Two months later she noticed a lump in her breast and was diagnosed with cancer in June.
She said: “I have always attended my breast screenings when invited.
“When I was told screening was on hold due to the pandemic and I would receive an invitation at some point, it was disappointing but I understood that Covid-19 was making everything difficult.
