Embrace nature and let it heal you in hard times
It is spring by the calendar and some of us are aching to get out in the garden, especially as we shelter in place, taking care of ourselves and our families and watching out for our neighbors during the coronavirus pandemic.

While we need to keep abreast of developments, I also think we need to not sit glued to the news. Our gardens and the great outdoors can be our escape and respite from becoming overwhelmed by what we’re hearing and going through. Our appreciation of nature takes us out of ourselves, and promotes a healthier attitude.

It’s too early and cold to plant outdoors or to work the still cold, wet soil in preparation for planting.
