BLUE HILL—Undaunted by the cancellation of plans to run The Riverlands, an annual 100-mile trail race in Turner, Charlotte Clews plotted her own 54-mile course on local roads, trails and Blue Hill Mountain, and turned it into a fundraiser for Tree of Life food pantry.
Like many plans this spring, COVID19 canceled what would have been Clews’ fourth year running The Riverlands. A distance-runner, fitness and yoga instructor, she operates the Mountain Studio in Blue Hill.
