The Moors chief has not been watching from his usual position in the management dugout in recent weeks, opting to take a bird’s eye view instead.
“You can see a much better pattern from higher up and don’t tend to get involved in all the hullabaloo of the game on the sidelines,” he explained. “I just find it a lot easier to focus on the actual game itself.”
Moors’ boss Flowers was perfectly positioned to see Jamey Osborne’s stylish 25yard free-kick fly into the top corner to secure a point against a Dover side chasing a third consecutive home win.
“It is a good point”, Flowers added. “We were second best in the first half and miles away from our usual intensity and quality up to the front players.
