Reading Books is a habit that brightens our lives in innumerable ways. Right from giving information and entertainment, books can take us to a whole new world. They transport us to a realm away from the chaos of our lives. Some creative writers also opined that books can be an 'escape' from 'reality'. Also, during lockdown and isolation periods, many turned to books to keep themselves calm amid all anarchy.

To provide a sense of positivity amid the crisis, the district administration of Arunachal Pradesh's Londing district took up a unique initiative. An abandoned government building in the district has been transformed into a reading hall cum library. It was a crafts training centre which had been vacated about 20 years back.
