Longtime Haystack Registrar Announces Retirement
DEER ISLE—Haystack Mountain School of Crafts’ longtime registrar and office manager Candy Haskell has formally retired from the school after 42 plus years.

“Beloved by colleagues, friends, and program attendees alike, Candy has been a kind and generous presence—for all of these years, she was the first voice you heard when you called and first person in the office who greeted you upon arrival to the school’s campus. Her long tenure means that she gained important institutional knowledge; she worked with all four of the school’s directors and trained many staff,” according to a press release from Haystack.
