Alex Prequel is an Italian tattoo artist specializing in abstract and watercolor style. He’s been tattooing for almost 7 years, and for 5 of those years he’s been working in his own studio. Alex started tattooing in 2013, back when he was almost 22 years old. His start was a very natural one. He told me that if he could go back in time, he would still always choose the beautiful job of tattooing. He’s always been in contact with art.
He studied drawing in a specific artistic high school, so it was definitely a point in his favor to have an artistic ability behind him when he started teaching. Inadditiontothepreparation in drawing or painting, he thinks it is very helpful to learn the culture and the knowledge of the history of art, of various artistic movements, the lives of various artists, various different techniques of making art, classical and contemporary. The information and images in his head leads to inspiration and creativity, more than the fact of knowing how to do it.
