Where are you from, and how would you describe your life growing up?
I was born in NYC, and although I love the big city, I’m a bonafide country girl! I grew up in middle Tennessee, and this is my home. My mother’s family is from this area and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I grew up swimming in creeks and climbing trees. The natural beauty of TN and my father’s love of the outdoors paved the path that led me to become a wildlife biologist.
How did you find your way in front of a camera, modeling?
I had become very il with Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Babesia (malaria-like disease), and Bartonela, al from tick bites. As soon as I had beaten al of them, and had my PICC line removed, a friend of mine invited me to a shoot. I soon signed with EM Modeling Agency and the rest is history!
What do you like best about being a model?
I love to break the glass ceiling, and the stereotypes with which modeling is stigmatized. I want to empower other women to be al that they can, to embrace the strength in femininity.
Besides modeling what is the most important thing in your life? Do you have any unusual talents?
I am a model that loves hunting, is a wildlife biologist, a pole-dance fitness instructor, have taught Biology at a state university.
