Two new books celebrate the life and work of the late, great Peter Lindbergh

Last year, shortly before the untimely death of legendary German fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, the Kunstpalast museum in Düsseldorf opened the first-ever exhibition of his work curated by Lindbergh himself. Titled Untold Stories, it encompassed an “uncompromising collection” of 140 photographs, which took Lindbergh two years to assemble, focusing on the lesser-known aspects of his impressive oeuvre, starting in the early 1980s and continuing to the present day.
