Q: Can you talk about the waiver wire process this year at the final cut-down compared to last year?
Douglas: Across the league the amount of claims (were) more than half than in years past. So, I think a lot of that had to do with the times we’re in, a lot of that had to do with the lack of preseason games.

Douglas: Obviously you guys know my feelings about the quarterback position, and it’s the most important position in professional sports.
Q: Has it crushed your football soul that Denzel Mims didn’t run a route during camp?
Douglas: Obviously you’d love to see him run routes and one-on-ones, beating corners, going up and getting the ball, and you’d like to see that early. But look there (were) a lot of teams dealing with soft tissue injuries through the acclimation period and throughout the training camp.
Q: What are your thoughts on how hard the new offensive linemen worked to come together?
