Describe yourself in three words.

I am driven, committed, and dynamic!

Were you excited to shoot for FHM?

Shooting for the cover was electrifying and mind blowing at the same time. I mean talk about a dream come true!

What was it like starting out as a model?

Starting out as a model was tough. I had all kinds of strikes against me as I entered into what is already a notoriously tough industry to break through. With focus, determination, hard work, making the right connections, and ignoring the ones that told me no, I made my dreams come true.

What would you consider to be your biggest challenge as a model so far?

Saying the modelling industry still has a diversity problem is not uncommon. Being a black model is without a doubt my biggest challenge. As the industry slowly starts to embrace women of all backgrounds, shapes, and sizes I can tell you that being a black model today on the cover of a major publication provides me with an opportunity to use my platform to inspire young women to want to lead and be in control of their own destiny as a classy professional in any industry of their choice.
