HEAD CONCIERGE AT HOTEL DE SERS

Cedric Gazou

Paris is known around the world as the City of Light. What would you recommend visitors do in the evenings to really take in its beauty?

Ask your concierge to arrange for you a dinner cruise on the River Seine to discover Paris, the Ville Lumière (City of Light).

As a culinary capital, what are three of your favorite restaurants that you would recommend our readers to try?

An everyday favorite, Jacopo, where the bistro food and the modern setting is a hidden gem in the Champs-Elysées district. Native from the south west of France, I would also highly recommend La Fontaine de Mars for its foie gras, duck confit, and cassoulet and its impeccable service supervised by Madame Boudon. The location of this institution is also great, nestled next to the Fontaine du Gros-Caillou with some tables underneath the arcades of a small square. And if I would like to celebrate an important event and enjoy the most refined French gastronomy, I would definitely recommend the Guy Savoy restaurant at La Monnaie de Paris.
