Sasson Academy, London, her tryst with hair began in 2011. And ever since, she has been known for her ability to tame the unruliest of manes into refined, richly textured tresses making for that effortless look.
Having worked on Lakme Fashion Week thrice and styling actor Ali Zafar in the film Dear Zindagi, Anchal is currently operating from A’Kreations salon, Bandra. And ardent hair lovers can’t miss out on her Instagram feed (hot.hair.balloon) as it provides an unlimited supply of her clientele’s before-and-after photographs and videos. “I’m hooked onto Youtube and draw inspiration from influencer Guy Tang and hair artist Georgi Ykot. Also assisting my guru, makeup artist Namrata Soni was a tremendous learning experience,” she shares.
That said, Anchal is a self-confessed Game of Thrones addict and would love to someday braid actor Emilia Clarke’s hair. Interestingly for her there are no challenges at work, only opportunities to be as creative as possible!
