Simply Exhilarating
Robb Report Singapore|February 2020
A special thank you to Marina Bay Sands, Tayrona Capital, Roger Dubuis, Cult Wines and everyone else who made the 2019 Robb Report Ultimate Drives extravaganza a success.
Simply Exhilarating

From the unveiling of the dreamy Concourse Skyline Penthouse to the launch of our inaugural Thought Leaders community, 2019 was certainly a year of milestones for Robb Report Singapore. To top that, the fourth edition of Robb Report Ultimate Drives returned with a bang, and with a roar from high-performance car engines.

Introduced in 2016 as Car of the Year, a four-day event of fancy drives vying to be voted number one, Ultimate Drives has become a Robb Report signature and an annual affair of automotive treats for the eye and more. The 2018 event saw the art-centric Gillman Barracks being transformed into a three-day playground of automobiles (think the Aston Martin DB11 and Lamborghini Huracán), art tours, whisky tastings, and perfume-making workshops.

This time, Robb Report Ultimate Drives presented by Tayrona Capital found its place at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, where we got comfortable pretty quickly. Over three days, guest drivers were invited to test some of the hottest luxury cars and ended each day high on adrenaline, great food, and good companionship. Some of the cars included the Aston Martin Vantage, all-new Porsche 911, Range Rover Sport HST and Jaguar F-Pace SVR, an SUV with the soul of a sports car.

Other cars that shared the spotlight included the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus, which were set up for display and complemented by a massive collection of classic cars and motorcycles, courtesy of Classic Car Club Singapore. The collection of 84 vintage models, which included the Alfa Romeo Montreal and Lamborghini Countach, nearly doubles the collection from the 2017 event.
