WHEN A BRAND like Audemars Piguet – one of the world’s most renowned, historic watchmakers – embarks on a project such as a new museum, it is safe to assume that it will aspire to be much more.
In June this year, the Musee Atelier Audemars Piguet was opened to the public. Its remarkable design is attributed to Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, who is known for his experimental approach to sustainability and harmony. This design was selected for the museum in 2014 following an architectural competition.
