Monaco: Revel In The Seaside Luxury

Monaco is a melange of all things fabulous. A scenic European seaside destination, it’s a place that beautifully blends heritage with the modern.

High on natural beauty, the Principality of Monaco has pretty coastal towns like Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Antibes and Eze, known for their pristine beaches. But if there's one place that tops every traveller's list it is Monte Carlo, the glamorous venue of the annual Formula 1 Grand Prix.

It's easily accessible, with Nice's Cote d'Azur International Airport—south France's main transit hub, being only a quick 7-minute helicopter ride away. The weather shouldn't be an impediment either, as Monaco's Mediterranean climate ensures that it has good weather through the year.

Monaco is known for the high life—leisure activities, business tourism, gastronomy, hotels, art and culture, wellness and world-class sport with a mix of historical and modern attractions. The Monaco Grand Prix, run on the Monte Carlo's most narrow and twisted streets, is a major attraction. What makes its most thrilling is that the Grand Prix is held on city streets with speeding Formula One cars in close proximity to the spectators.

The destination is also home to some of the best pubs, restaurants, casinos of the world and the nightlife is an important part of the city. Some of the famous nightclubs are Jimmy'z that's home to celebrities from around the world; the Sass Café, which has hosted names like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, amongst others. The Monaco experience is incomplete without the casino especially the famous Casino de Monte Carlo. At Casino La Rascasse one can choose to play from 85 slot machines and can try out many exciting games that are interactive. Three Bond films including Casino Royale, Golden Eye, and Never Say Never Again were filmed here in Monaco.

The food in Monaco is eclectic and inspired by the rich culinary heritage and abundance of fresh and flavourful ingredients. There are over 170 restaurants throughout Monaco, with diverse cuisine ranging from grilled meat and fish dishes and other exotic cuisines. The principality is also a great shopping destination. The legendary Monte Carlo's Golden Circle sees fashion enthusiasts selecting the latest collections from luxury brands like Chanel, Christian Dior, Celine, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Valentino
