Think about all the tragedies we’re exposed to on a daily basis – whether directly or indirectly. A global pandemic, bushfires, floods and fatal accidents. These occurrences can take a serious toll on our mental and emotional health, and it’s called compassion fatigue.

WHAT IS CF?

Compassion fatigue, also known as secondary traumatic stress (STS) is a treatable condition that can be the result of helping or wanting to help other people under significant stress or trauma.
