A mid last week’s news that Princess Beatrice and her fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have been forced to reconsider their wedding plans, it appears the royal is now going ahead with another plan: having a baby.
Until this sad announcement, and the COVID-19 crisis, bookies were taking bets on Beatrice and Eugenie celebrating a double pregnancy this year.
One UK bookmaker had the odds of Eugenie announcing her pregnancy at 5/1 while Beatrice is at 8/1.
And now, a well-placed royal insider has confirmed the princess is “desperate to start a family”.
“And she isn’t letting the fact that her wedding’s been postponed stop her from trying,” says our source.
