Tell us a little about your journey into the world of travel? Did you always want to be a part of it? Or, was there a defining moment that pushed you towards travel?
My uncle started a modest hotel in South Africa in 1940 and today our family owns multiple brands. I belong to the fourth-generation of a family that is into travel business. I discovered my love for travel in my pre-teens, when I first visited my father who lived in London. Travelling has helped me understand memories that are far more precious in life than materialistic things. It is rightly said, “Travel is the only thing that you pay for that leaves you feeling richer.”
Most people love to travel. What makes it so appealing?
Travel taught me to see, feel and learn about new places and people. By experiencing different cultures, customs and communities we get broader perspective of the world. Travel helps to enhance one’s personality, appreciate the value of everything in life, and become grateful for all that we have.
