About two decades ago, a young Jamie Mead worked as a banquet attendant in Hilton Brisbane, Australia while studying economics at the University of South Australia. To his parents’ dismay, the young lad kept working in the hotel even after graduation. Fast forward 17 years later, Jamie has found a way to balance his interest in business with his passion for the hospitality industry, as the respected regional general manager of Hilton Hotels in Malaysia.
