Sometimes all it takes is a little treat, given with kindness and thoughtfulness, to make you feel valued and life seem a bit better.

And that’s exactly what the wonderful team behind BakingA-Difference has done – one delicious, decorated cake at a time – for thousands of men and women across the Norfolk and Waveney area during the past few weeks of the coronavirus crisis.

The story begins with Michaela Davies, who used to be a teacher at Great Yarmouth High School. While teaching diagnosed with breast cancer and was advised by her doctors to stop working due to the risk of infection while undergoing treatment.

As a coping mechanism Michaela started baking, first to keep her mind and body busy, and found a real passion here so she started her home business called Cake Envy.
