Attracting around 30,000 people over the late May bank holiday weekend, Hertfordshire County Show is a fabulous day out for all ages

The best of HERTS

Herts entertainment, Herts shopping, Herts animals, Herts food and for 2020 a Herts bar! Local favourites Old Vodka, Pinksters and Farr Brew will be serving up delicious tipples all weekend and, if you discover a new favourite, you’ll find all of them to take home. All this and much, much more is on offer at the 2020 Hertfordshire County Show, a fixture in the county calendar since 1879.

Running for more than 10 years, the show’s county-focussed shopping experience has grown to include three Made In Hertfordshire marquees and the new Etsy Hertfordshire marquee. That’s more than 100 local traders ready to share their workmanship and produce with you. Here you’ll find everything from cheese, chutneys and meats to handbags, clothing, homeware, photography and paintings.

Not only can you #shoplocal, you can #eatlocal too. Since it’s 2018 expansion, the Eat and Drink Hertfordshire theme has expanded to all three food courts – stick with traditional burgers and hotdogs or try vegan Indian dishes, Greek salad and so much more. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, all ice cream vendors will be offering a Hertfordshire ice cream option.
