The iconic noughties TV show is being revived for today’s audience.

The Emmy Award-winning Queer Eye is getting a reboot, and it will be available to stream on Netflix very soon. Ted, Thom, Kyan, Jai, and Carson are officially the OGs of the show, since a fresh lineup will be taking over. Come February, say hello to the all-new Fab Five: Bobby Berk, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, and Antoni Porowski.

Bobby Berk is a designer-slash-entrepreneur, Karamo Brown hosts MTV’s Are You The One: Second Chances, and Antoni Porowski is an actor who is also a foodie. Jonathan Van Ness is a hair designer, while Tan France knows a thing or two about fashion. The revival of Queer Eye will span eight episodes, and will see the Fab Five build relationships with women and men from eclectic backgrounds and values different from their own. The original show was set in New York. However, this time around, the refreshed show will be based in Atlanta, Georgia – a more conservative zone compared to the Big Apple.

Series creator David Collins says that if the original run was about tolerance, the new Queer Eye is all about acceptance. The show will also touch on a wide range of subjects, such as LGBTQ+ rights, making the best farm-to-table guacamole, and much more. Collins intends to show that it’s so much more than makeovers and wardrobe, as there is an episode where Karamo discusses relations between black communities and police with Cory, a police officer.
