EN 1969, una joyería en la calle de Amberes cambió de nombre al pasar a ser propiedad de Hervé Peyrelongue, visionario francés que llegó a México en los años 60. En 1988, su hijo Luis se integró al negocio familiar, abriendo en 1992 una sucursal dedicada especialmente a la relojería con el nombre de Chronos de Peyrelongue. El paso siguiente fue abrir una primera sucursal en la colonia Polanco en 1994, para Luis inaugurar –en 2002– su reconocida tienda en Presidente Masaryk 431, con relojes y joyas bajo el mismo techo.
