Roseland, The Hayloft, St Austell PL26 7AD

It has been proven that time spent in nature helps boost your wellbeing and one of Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s finest, Roseland is the ideal place to do just that. This remote peninsula boasts secluded bays, beaches, woods, and magnificent views, perfect if you are looking to take things slow. However, if you want to pick up the pace, there are so many different footpaths to choose from, leaving you very spoilt for choice. You could trek over farmland or walk through the wooded valley complemented by dramatic scenery. So, the question is, which one are you going to choose?

Lankidden Cove, 3, Helston TR12 6SH

Beaches are some of the greatest and most enjoyable natural features this earth has to offer us. So, we say, visit Lankidden Cove for its tranquillity and calming nature. It is advised this hidden cove is best reached via a hike along the coastal path from Kennack Sands. The short vigorous trek is worth it though, for its quiet and more than often deserted environment. Also, if you want to embrace nature and let your stresses melt away, experience some wild swimming in the sea. (Word of warning, it is regarded as safe, but there is no lifeguard cover so caution is advised).

Rock Valley PL34 0BB

If you are looking for escapism, wilderness and tranquillity, Rock Valley is absolute heaven. Located in a small valley in the parish of Tintagel, this serene location is very special indeed. It has fantastic walking suggestions, so if you are looking to up the pace, head downstream so you can discover a trail which takes you through to a very scenic and rugged landscape. If you are feeling brave, take a plunge into the rocky gorge-like valley to follow a tumbling stream to the sea. Sounds like the best detox and a great way to de-stress.
