With a comprehensive shelter and a wealth of helpful services, Harbor House of Central Florida seeks to eliminate domestic violence in the lives of local survivors.

One in three people will experience domestic abuse at the hands of their partner during their lifetime. Locally, Harbor House of Central Florida, Orange County’s only state-certified domestic violence shelter, works tirelessly toward eliminating this statistic.

The organization opened its doors in 1976 as a safe haven for survivors of domestic abuse. It has transformed into one of the most comprehensive abuse prevention and intervention centers in the country that features a variety of services that ensures all family members will be safe as they heal.
