It’s been half a century since Kenzo Takada presented his first fashion collection in Paris, before selling his namesake label to LVMH in 1993. Now 81, he has come out of retirement to launch a home and lifestyle brand.

That’s not to say he’s been idle the last two decades since leaving his fashion house in 1999.
