The answer lies in the question itself. A space can be functional, if it is tailor-made to the requirement of the user. There are various factors to be considered, like the home owner’s lifestyle, functional requirement of the kitchen, number of persons who will use this space, etc.
What is the trend you foresee in the near future?
The trends are different for different income groups. People living in 2BHK apartments have very limited space and they need to use all the vertical space available for storage, they also need foldable workspaces which can change according to their needs. Here, we think, there will be a lot of innovation in hardware, lighting and automation to help the user to optimize space as well as give them comfort in working.
