Internationally-acclaimed Eleonore Cavalli, Art Director, Visionnaire Shares Tips on the Concept of Green Living, Furniture Design and Her Views on the Indian Design Industry.
What is your design philosophy, and what is the kind of research you do before conceptualizing a design?
Luxury, style and quality are the core values of my design philosophy. At Visionnaire, we take an alternative approach to the idea of interior design, by offering complete concept solutions for residences, offices, hotels and resorts, yachts and jets. Our design language doesn’t regard a piece of furniture strictly as a product, but more as a way of living. We also do a through research on how the furniture will be used by the owner. This approach allows us to constantly research and develop innovative futuristic concepts and products.
A recipient of numerous international awards and a creator of phenomenal designs, what keeps you and your team motivated?
As the Art Director, my role is very interesting because, I get to follow the entire creative process. Being an Architect, I am extremely passionate about my job and have a passion for Contemporary Art. I love travelling, meeting new designers and creative people to further enhance my perception and develop new styles and techniques. This entire creative process, which includes interacting with designers from different parts of the world, and engaging with art in it’s various forms, is truly inspirational and motivating.
