Architect Haresh Lakhani of HP Lakhani Associates has designed an understated contemporary villa for Vineet Tiberwal, that strikes a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.

Spread over an area of 16,000 sq. ft., the vibrant and airy home has adequate amount of natural light and ventilation. Designed as per the Vastu dictates with certain vastu corrective measures, has resulted in the designing of this house, which is located in the prime suburban locality of Hyderabad.

This modern structure dramatically juxtaposes the trapezoidal forms on the exterior. Built on a 1,250 sq. yards rectangular plot, the fluid abstract volumes of the façade manifest themselves in the interiors.

The majestic mansion is aesthetically appealing and well-designed. Situated at a higher altitude, the design goal was to capture the beautiful vistas of the city from all the sides and also provide functional and vastu compliant spaces.

One is greeted by a green wall and a waterbody, as one enters the home through an imposing white lacquered doorway. The wall on one side is clad in classic Traventine marble. The entrance foyer is inviting and naturally-lit from the skylight above. This space overlooks the waterbody outside near the doorway inviting nature inside. The myriad watery reflections shimmer in the magic of neutral coloured walls, which actually bring in vibrant energy in their own way. The area also has an seating area with wooden roofing, which overlooks the landscaped garden. From the entrance lobby, the fluid connectivity of spaces stimulate the senses instantaneously.
