Hillary and Conor in Cork needed a spacious and functional kitchen for their large family. Celtic Interiors have created a beautifully designed and stylishly finished space that suits their needs perfectly.
Our previous kitchen was cherry wood with dark worktops and was much smaller,’ recalls Hillary. ‘There are six in our family so we needed more room as there was practically no worktop space in the old kitchen.’
Hillary explains how the couple chose Celtic Interiors. ‘They are very local and when we visited the showroom, I loved their designs and started to engage with the designer Aiden on the design of our new kitchen. They were very professional and pleasant to deal with,’ she says.
‘I told him what we were doing structurally in the house and where I wanted the kitchen as it was going to be on the opposite side. I had an idea of where I wanted the island and appliances to go. Aiden came up with some good suggestions, which I listened to but we worked together on the final design.’
