Katie and her husband George along with their three young children Grace, Ella and Bobby, knew that this beautiful Georgian terrace would offer the perfect family home.
Looking to move to a larger home to accommodate their growing family, Katie and George stumbled upon this period property, which had already been converted by its existing owners to offer a modern living space filling the back of the house with light as well as carefully considered storage throughout the home.
‘The layout and composition of the house was perfect, and we had absolutely no structural work to undertake when we purchased the property,’ explains Katie. ‘However, the elderly couple who had been living here had a very different decorative taste to our own, so we enlisted the help of Thompson Clarke Interiors and began putting our own stamp on the house from the front door right throughout every room.’
With four bedrooms and four reception rooms as well as the hallway and stairways covering four floors, it did take a couple of years to get everything completely redecorated.
