Located on an enviable position of the river and only a short walk from Cork’s historic city centre, The River Lee is perfect for a city break.
After a tiring day exploring Cork we made our way to The River Lee hotel reception and received a very warm welcome from the staff before being checked in and shown to our room. We had been provided with a beautifully furnished spacious Deluxe Room, with stunning views over the river. A perk of staying in a Deluxe Room means you have access to the Executive Lounge, offering complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day. All hotel guests also have access to the hotel’s health and fitness club which includes a 20 metre swimming pool.
The River Lee Cork is one of eight distinctive hotels making up The Doyle Collection, a family run business. The historic Elizabeth Fort, pleasant Mardyke river walk and St Finbarr’s Cathedral are all within walking distance of the hotel, and a variety of lively pubs and eateries are nearby for evening entertainment.
