The original arched windows (opposite) are the undeniable hero of this calming space, with the full redesign shaped around maximising their impact. “We explored various layout options but, ultimately, the bay provided the perfect location for a large bath,” explains designer Alanna. The Victoria + Albert ‘Cheshire’ bath, teamed with exquisite Perrin & Rowe tapware from The English Tapware Company, completes the scene against the backdrop of Jatana tiles. “The feature tiles were key as they help prevent the fixtures being lost in such an open space,” adds Alanna.
TAKE A SEAT
The shower, done in waterfall Zellige tiles in Moss from Tiles by Ezra (left), and with a roomy seat and English-style tapware, feels like an immersive wet room. Carrara marble tiles from Tiles by Kate add sophistication across the floorspace and beautifully define an inset storage niche and seat. “The new, enlarged space allows the clients to shower in comfort,” explains Alanna.
