From the hibiscus rose vesper to a fruity margarita made with pomegranate juice, these luscious cocktails—all colored red or pink from ingredients such as Campari, beet juice, or muddled fruit—are perfect for Valentine’s Day.
ROSE COCKTAIL
A popular cocktail in 1920s Paris, this delicate concoction gets its soft pink color from the addition of raspberry syrup, and its floral notes from the use of vermouth and kirsch, a dry cherry brandy.
Ingredients:
2 oz. French vermouth
1 oz. kirsch (cherry brandy)
1 tsp. raspberry syrup, such as Monin
1 maraschino cherry, to garnish
