This 2,000sqft weekend home in Rancharda, Ahmedabad is unlike any we’ve seen before. Conceptualised as a narrow verandah, there are two volumes to it — the pubic area and the private space, with a bridge connecting the two. The yellow skeleton of this structure piques our interest. Its bright canary bones connect the interiors beautifully with the green expanse of landscape it sits on. While the skeleton is simple, the interiors are an elevated take on the basics. Architects Keta and Varun Shah of Workshop Inc. agree with this observation.
