Standing five meters tall, the Aguahoja pavilion when no longer useful can be programmed to degrade in water, probably in the rain, and returned to the natural ecosystem. Made from biopolymer composites of world’s most common biological compounds — cellulose, chitosan and pectin — the level of its environmental programming promises to produce exceptionally responsive organic architecture in the near future.
