In 1991, British inventor and industrial designer Sir James Dyson founded his eponymous technology company, which came to be known for its game-changing products and concepts that made you rethink the quotidian (bladeless fans, bagless vacuum cleaners and ‘Supersonic’ hairdryers). More recently, Dyson expanded its portfolio of personal gadgets to include the ‘Lightcycle’, an evolution of scion Jake Dyson’s 2012 design, the ‘CSYS’ task light.
