Omega Trigo light (DK) weight mercerized cotton yarn (31/2oz/ 295 yds/100g per skein): 5 [5, 6, 7, 7, 8] skeins #267 blue jean

Size G/6/4mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

Tapestry needle

GAUGE

6 dc rows = 3 inches; 12 dc = 3 inches

Take time to check gauge.

PATTERN NOTES

Cardigan is worked from the hem up, and sleeves are stitched directly onto the body.

Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.

When working into a shell, work indicated stitch in the chain-2 space, skipping the clusters on each side.

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Cluster (cl): Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo and pull yarn through, yo and pull through first 2 lps on hook, yo, insert hook in same st, yo and pull yarn through, yo and pull through first 2 lps on hook, yo and pull through all 3 lps on hook.

Shell: (Cl, ch 2, cl) in same st.
