PATTERN NOTES

Afghan is worked in interlocking rows of mesh from bottom to top. The rows are worked in pairs; 1 row of each color is worked from right to left before turning.

Chain-4 tab at end of each row counts as first double crochet, chain-1 of next row of same color.

Proper positioning of chain-4 tab and working yarn at the start of each row is crucial to maintaining color pattern. There should be a MC double crochet on the outer edge of each pair of rows.

Pull rows upward as necessary to align stitches and chain spaces appropriately.
