01. SHOOT THE MESSENGER
What does (and doesn’t) keep us motivated often boils down to a game of broken telephone. Nerve cells communicate with other nerves, muscles, tissues or organs by releasing neurotransmitters. These “messengers” transport neurological info (AKA a set of instructions) to either be passed on or carried out by the intended recipient. While there are many types of neurotransmitters, if you’re looking to hack your productivity, you want to tap into the Holy Grail that is dopamine.
