However, its hard not to get swept up in the hype of this latest virus because its all anyone ever talks about. It is belting out through the mainline media streams and around every dinner table or coffee shop still open and practicing social distancing.

Whichever way your inclination leans, from military styled virus releases to natural causes to sweet and sour bats, one thing is for sure, it has had a profound impact on the industry we all know and love.

The multitude of videos and photos circulating the social electronic circles show parked aircraft in their hundreds, in fact it could be a few thousand. Take American Airlines for example, according to Wikipedia they operate 940 aircraft with 128 000 employees. One airline! Granted their freight section still flies but not many of the dedicated passenger carriers have a freighter department, happy to load belly freight on their scheduled services instead.
