The last time I checked on Instagram, a tangerine bikini-clad Nidhi Sunil posed in what looked like the living room of her bright and colourful New York apartment. Her hair looked like it was ready for the beach breeze and the ease of being in her skin was evident. “To me, the body is an extension of your mind and soul. How you talk to yourself in the mirror should give you a clue as to how you approach most things in life. “I grew up in a typical south Indian family—think idlis and filter coffee for breakfast, summers in Ernakulam, and schooling in Bengaluru. I was a shy child, a dreamer. In the physical world, this meant I often walked into things and quite literally destroyed them or injured myself.”
