How To Get In Shape Before Wedding
The Lifestyle journalist|May 2019

No matter how hard you try, from New Year resolutions to making vague promises to start exercising from tomorrow; those extra pounds never leave. But now that the wedding bells are chiming in unison, it’s high time you get on that treadmill. Every bride or the groom wants to get in shape magically before the big day. Alas, you have to sweat to stay fit! Here are some guidelines listed by Nupur for a fit body before wedding….

How To Get In Shape Before Wedding

Stay hydrated

Let’s start from the basics. This is the first advice that any fitness professional would give you. Drinking ample water each day is important, say 8-12 glasses (or one glass for each hour you stay awake) throughout the day is essential. Sure you would have to visit the loo a little bit more than usual, but it’s healthy! Doing so will relieve your body of harmful toxins and accelerate the fat burning process. Water helps reduce weight in two ways. First, water induces a sense of fullness in the stomach, which automatically causes you to eat less food. Such it results in the intake of lesser calories and it will automatically result in weight loss. Second, it metabolizes fat. To function throughout the day, our body needs energy. This energy is produced by breaking down accumulated carbohydrates and fats into glucose. Water plays a very important role in this process. Hence, drinking water speeds up this process. Other than that there are plenty minor benefits that will overall only refine your health. Drinking a healthy amount of water everyday stimulates production of saliva and mucus that keeps our eyes, nose, and mouth clean and moist. It prevents infection and damage. Drinking water instead of sweetened and carbonated drinks actually keeps our teeth clean, preventing tooth decay while preserving that million dollar smile for wedding pictures! This habit aids in keeping skin naturally dewy and glowing. No-makeup needed! Water intake regulates your digestion. Doing so, it avoids problems like heartburn, acidity, indigestion.
