CLASSIC EXAMPLE
A leather jacket is practically antithetical to a trend – a wardrobe staple that wears better with age the more it gets worn-in. This Fall/Winter ‘19, designers are returning to the classics, be it biker jackets or long coats. Made with supple leathers, the outerwears are seen appearing in a variety of shades from black to yellow. Hermès’s runway best represents the trend, which comes as no surprise with the maison’s rich history in leather mastery. Wear a turtleneck sweater underneath one, and the definite statement look promises to never go out of style.
NECK BLANKETS
Come winter, one will be prepared to buy every type of winter clothing except for a scarf; as if a man will appear weak when wearing one. On the Fall/Winter ‘19 runways, designers are proving how a scarf can be a fashion statement while keeping the neck warm. This season sees scarves being made extra long, which also conveniently double up as portable blankets for extra cuddle factor. These cosy head-turners are making waves with Loewe serving up knitted versions while Gucci gives its take on furry ones.
