It all started with a conversation on Instagram. “I love the piece that you made for me! How about we do something for MEGA?” I messaged Ushi Sato in excitement right after seeing the criss-cross cotton halter top he made for me. “Yes! I’ll make a capsule collection” he said. It was the beginning of a great collaboration of creative minds to build a collection that is both nostalgic and hopeful for the future—everything that the Ushi Sato brand stands for.
